Adrienne is a vocalist who excels at live performance, with strong, versatile pop/rock vocals, commanding stage presence, and an ability to read and adapt to audiences.
As a vocal coach and a mentor of other vocal coaches, she understands how to manipulate her voice to produce a wide array of textures and genres. She can equally execute a flawless imitation of Stevie Nicks’ edgy, tremolo-driven, highly compressed rock voice as she can do dead-on renditions of the brassy rock power of “Sweet Child of Mine” and the yodel flip of “Zombie“. But she is best at pop – from Linda Ronstadt’s “Blue Bayou” (complimented by Linda Ronstadt herself) to Annie Lennox to Bjork to Alicia Keys to Sia. But she’ll occasionally whip out a musical theatre piece, a classical piece, or cover a song with insanely high notes (“Lovin You” by Minnie Ripperton), just to prove she can.
She currently sings as Stevie Nicks in the highly successful tribute band The Petty Nicks Experience, as a featured vocalist covering Celine Dion/Andrea Bocelli pop-opera piece “The Prayer” with Cody Qualls, and as a pop/disco vocalist with The Petty Nicks Plus, a brand new dance-band offshoot of the Petty Nicks Experience.
Previously, she was the co-founder/co-lead for wedding band The Fever, co-lead for funk/R&B band Girls on Top!, lead singer and bassist for her original band, Adrienne O, and the lead singer for top 40 cover band Urban Dance Theory. She also sings occasionally in other projects as a sub or guest, such as for tribute band Pink Talking Fish who invited her to sing “Great Gig in the Sky.”
